Hi, for megaglest, there has actually been many updates…latest version is 3.3.5 beta 9 http://glest.org/glest_board/index.php?topic=5380.0 (in this case, betas are more stable, mainly for multiplayer though)
Also, if you haven’t tried it yet, try GAE (Glest Advanced Engine) Adds some features, some cool ones…
