Diskless Linux Gaming Terminal Using DRBL

What a success, actually this is quite late for me to post this, but I just wanna share this with others that’s diskless linux gaming terminal is possible to do. From 5th to 7th June our exhibition our open source software technology at Rompin Fest 2009 was a big success.

Our DRBL Server Specification :

  • P4 2.4 Ghz
  • 40GB Hard Disk
  • 2 x 10/100Mbps NIC
  • with Ubuntu 8.04
  • Games Installed: Warzone2100/Warsow/Glest/Alien Arena/Tremulous/Savage2

Our DRBL Client :

  • p4 1.6Ghz – 1.8Ghz
  • 512MB – 768MB DDR1 Memory
  • 256MB NVidia FX 5500 AGP
  • 1 x 10/100Mbps NIC
